The Mavericks put together a standout 10–4 regular season in Single-A and carried that form deep into the postseason. The playoff run was memorable — a dramatic 9th-inning walk-off win over Bracknell at home after falling behind by 4 runs, then an upset of London (the unbeaten top seed) in the championship semi-final.
The National Final saw them come up against a strong Tonbridge side who blanked the Mavericks, ending the campaign as runners-up. Will Frawley won MVP for his contributions throughout the season.
The Millers were not yet in existence — this would be their final season as a single-team club before expanding in 2016.
