The first team finished with a winning record in Double-A and qualified for the playoffs. Their postseason run ended in the semi-finals — eliminated by Hull Scorpions, with a standout performance from Grant Marshall. Hull subsequently lost to Brighton in the championship final.
Player Pawel contributed "home run heroics" during the playoff run, giving the team a fighting chance before Hull's quality showed through.
The second team also finished with a winning record in Single-A — a solid second campaign for the club's development roster, despite significant disruption throughout the year.
The club lost use of the main diamond at Broadwater School after a single local resident complained about weekend noise. The first team played the majority of their games away from home; the second team used an alternative grass field on the school grounds.
Both squads adapted and maintained competitive records — a testament to the resilience of the playing group under difficult circumstances.
End of an era: 2013 was the final season at the club for head coach Tony Oliva, who had been instrumental in the club's resurgence. He departed to Richmond in the off-season.
