The Mavericks finished the 2024 BBF Division 3 South season with a 13–15 record — a competitive campaign that narrowly fell short of a playoff spot. The team showed strong moments throughout the year and will head into 2025 with the core of the squad intact.
Despite missing out on the postseason, 2024 demonstrated the depth and determination within the Mavericks' roster. Several young players stepped up across the season, giving the coaching staff plenty of confidence heading into the off-season.
A landmark season for the Millers. For the first time in club history, the Millers qualified for the BBF playoffs — a moment that captured the spirit and growth of Guildford baseball. They advanced to the quarterfinals before bowing out, but the achievement stands as one of the club's proudest milestones.
This wasn't a one-off. The Millers have been building steadily, and 2024 was the payoff for years of development and squad investment. The expectation now is that playoff baseball is the new normal for this team.
