Ben Prangley who has been playing with the club for the last 3 seasons, has become the first Guildford player to make the final cut for a GB team, and will be flying out to Budapest in early July, to represent the club, on the GB team.
Head Coach, Michael Burdett commented, not only has Ben been one of the standouts in the Minors team the last couple of seasons, and in the Majors this season, he is also one of the most committed. Many a time, I’ve looked over well after the end of the junior training, and Ben is still there fielding ground balls or hitting off the tee. Credit must also go to his father Stuart, who has spent a lot of time coaching and encouraging Ben, as well as finding time to act as Coach for the Majors group.
